How to get the full version?

• First, you need to download the trial version of FileEngineer from the download page.
• Install this trial version.
• Get a registration code by clicking on one of the secure online shops below. The registration code will be emailed to you as soon as your order is processed (usually within minutes if using an online registration service).
• Once you have received your registration code, you can enter it by clicking on the "Enter Registration Code"-button which is shown when you start the trial version of FileEngineer or with the "Enter Registration Code" in the "Help"-menu. The easiest way to enter the registration code is by using copy and paste.

What are the different license options?

You can choose between a "User license" or a "Site license" (also called "Corporate license"). With the "User license" you need a different registration code for each user that will be using FileEngineer. With a "Site license" you can install and use FileEngineer on as many systems as you want, but only in the company that bought the "Site license".

Trial Limitations

The trial version of NuonSoft FileEngineer has the following limitations. These limitations are given for each module in FileEngineer. Apart from the limitations listed below you can only run FileEngineer 20 times. After that, your trial copy has expired.

  • You cannot double-click on a folder to open it, nor can you enter a folder in the edit box at the top of the Folder Size Lister window. The only way to change the folder is by using the "..."-button.

  • "Include subfolders" does not work.
